Deaf Beekeepers Using Colony Acoustics

Most beekeepers know colonies can hiss, but the sounds that honey bees make can reveal a lot about their status and health. Several devices have been developed to help beekeepers interpret these sounds and their deeper meaning, and beekeepers who are deaf or hard-of-hearing may find such tools especially useful.
